How it works

1. You answer a short set of questions

The first question sets the direction — repair, growth, frizz, styling, care or tools. After that, you only see questions that matter for the path you chose, which is why the quiz usually takes five or six steps.

2. Your answers become a profile

Each answer contributes to a structured profile: target characteristics such as hold, hydration or frizz control on a 0–10 scale, plus suitability requirements such as fine hair, curly texture or bleached condition.

3. Products are scored against that profile

Every product carries the same structured characteristics. We measure how closely each product meets your targets, weight the characteristics that matter most for your goal, and rule out products unsuited to your hair type.

The rules are fixed. The same answers always produce the same recommendations — nothing is randomised, and no product is boosted for commercial reasons.

4. You get two picks

The best overall match, and the best lower-cost alternative when one genuinely fits. We never ask your budget during the quiz, so price never influences the main recommendation.

What we don't do

We don't diagnose hair loss, scalp conditions or allergies, and we don't give medical advice. Recommendations are cosmetic suggestions based on the answers you give.
