Products for frizz control and shine
Frizz and shine are related but not the same. Some products smooth without adding gloss; others add gloss without doing much for frizz on a humid day.
Match the strength to the problem
Mild frizz usually responds to a leave-in or a light cream. Severe frizz, especially in humidity, tends to need a dedicated serum or an anti-humidity layer over the top.
Texture changes the answer
On curly and coily hair, frizz control and curl definition go together, so creams and leave-ins usually win. On straight hair, a light serum or oil is often enough, and a heavy cream can look greasy.
Choosing your finish
Natural, shiny and very glossy are three different targets. Being specific about the finish you want is one of the fastest ways to narrow down a shortlist.
